Palindrome - A Pi_Rational Interlude Story

Palindrome is a story written from two different perspectives by two different writers. It ends and begins in the same place, with reverence to the return.

Nolon is an obsessive, blossoming psychopath who gets off on tricking women into meeting with him by adopting different personalities online. Anna is a married woman who likes to find random strangers online and bring them home. When they find each other, chaos penetrates their otherwise ordinary lives.

A palindrome himself, James Renner collaborated with Pi_Rational Writer on this by writing the second half titled, "Anna." Between seasons, Pi_Rational Stories will release Interlude tales. One episode acting as a bridge between the dark places.

Narrator: Valerie Bogart

Valerie Bogart is often characterized as a Girl Friday in the realm of creative production. After earning her degree in Interior Design, she launched her career as a graphic designer, moonlighting in such endeavors as custom illustration, photojournalism, and community theater. While performing on stage is her first love, she has recently taken a shine to voice acting, as it allows her the opportunity to embrace two of her most favorite things - bringing stories to life and wearing yoga pants.

Her first gig as a voice actor was in a kindergarten classroom, but she has since expanded into an industry with fewer critics.

When she’s not in the studio, you can find her in a library doing genealogical research, bingeing true crime documentaries, or traveling to third world countries on mission trips. Valerie is a vegan and lives in Ohio with her cat, five daughters, two labradors, and one husband.

Voice and writer/collaborator: James Renner

James Renner is mostly known for his true-crime journalism. As a reporter for Cleveland Scene, he uncovered new clues and suspects in the cold-case murder of Amy Mihaljevic. His work led to the successful closure of the Tina Harmon case in 2009. He spent months researching the Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus abductions when the girls were still missing and is haunted by the fact that he had Castro’s name in his notes. His true-crime writing has been featured in the Best American Crime Reporting anthology. His selection was the first true crime article to use a dream sequence as a narrative device.
